Stephen (Steve) Metter is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of MW Group. As CEO, Steve supports company leadership in governing the organization, setting and structuring corporate strategy, and ensuring operational excellence.
Steve has been an active member with many charitable and professional organizations. Currently, he sits on the boards of Child & Family Services and the Hawaiian Humane Society. He also serves as a Trustee for Hawaii Pacific University (HPU). In the past, Steve has served on the boards of the Fort Street Improvement District, the Institute for Family Enrichment, the Hawai'i State Art Museum, Hawai'i Theatre, and the Mcdonald's Advisory Board. Steve has been a member of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) for over 25 years and is also active in the World Presidents' Organization (WPO).
Steve started his career in New York City as an investment banker. He attended the University of California, Berkeley, and has been a leader in the Hawai'i business and development community for over three decades.
