Stephen (Steve) Metter is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of MW Group. As CEO, Steve supports company leadership in governing the organization, setting and structuring corporate strategy, and ensuring operational excellence.
Steve has been an active member with many charitable and professional organizations. Currently, he sits on the Child & Family Services board. He also serves as a Trustee for Hawaii Pacific University (HPU) and Hanahau'oli School. In the past, Steve has served on the boards of the Fort Street Improvement District, the Institute for Family Enrichment, the Hawai'i State Art Museum, Hawai'i Theatre, Hawaiian Humane Society, and the McDonald's Advisory Board. Steve has been a member of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) for over 25 years and is also active in the World Presidents' Organization (WPO).
Steve started his career in New York City as an investment banker. He attended the University of California, Berkeley, and has been a leader in the Hawai'i business and development community for over three decades.

Daniel Cody is the President of MW Group, providing leadership across the firm’s real estate development portfolio and driving its disciplined approach to growth. Over his 20 years with MW Group, he has led major acquisition and development efforts, guided investment strategy, and strengthened operations. He previously served as Chief Investment Officer and Vice President of Acquisitions and Development, following earlier development roles in Seattle, San Diego, and Jakarta.
Daniel is actively involved in the community, serving on the boards of the YMCA of Honolulu, NAIOP Hawaii, Hawaiian Island Ministries, and Ko‘olau Ballrooms. Raised in Kāne‘ohe and a graduate of Punahou School, he holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Washington and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Brian Wong is the Chief Operating Officer of MW Group, providing leadership and oversight for the organization’s leasing, property management, and corporate policy.
Brian is active in the real estate community and has held leadership and membership roles with several industry organizations. He served as President of the Hawaii Certified Commercial Investment Members (CCIM) Chapter in 2007 and has been involved with NAIOP Hawaii and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He is also engaged in the community through organizations including the American Heart Association and the Public Schools of Hawaii Foundation, and most recently served as a board member of Make-A-Wish Hawaii.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts from Occidental College and an MBA from the University of Hawaii.

Colby Kisaba is the Chief Financial Officer of MW Group. He is responsible for all financial and accounting functions at the company and plays a key role in corporate oversight. Colby has been a part of the team at MW Group since 2001.
In the community, Colby plays an active role in several organizations. He is currently a member of the Community Leadership Board of the American Diabetes Association of Hawaii and was the 2013-2014 President Elect of the Hawaii chapter of Financial Executives International. Colby graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Masters of Business Administration.

Noelle Catalan Kim is the Corporate Counsel for MW Group where she is responsible for all legal matters impacting the company and its operations. Prior to joining MW Group, Noelle worked as an associate attorney at a full-service civil law firm in Honolulu, where her practice focused on real estate and corporate law. She also worked in the banking industry and served as Corporate Compliance Officer and as the Privacy Officer for one of Hawaii's largest financial institutions.
Noelle obtained her BA, cum laude, from the University of Southern California, and received her law degree, cum laude, from the University of Hawai'i, William S. Richardson School of Law. While in law school, Noelle served as the Executive and Managing Editor of the University of Hawaii Law Review and received CALI Excellence for the Future awards for being awarded the highest grade in numerous classes.

Jason Reese serves as Chief Executive Officer of The Plaza Assisted Living, where he leads the strategic direction, operational performance, and continued growth of all Plaza communities across Oahu.
With over 30 years of leadership experience in senior living and healthcare, Jason’s background spans independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing. His diverse career includes executive leadership roles in both public companies and private organizations, including successfully founding and growing senior care companies. Before becoming CEO, Jason served as an outside advisor to The Plaza for three years, working closely with leadership to enhance operations, improve quality outcomes, and support long-term planning.
Jason’s passion for service began in high school, working in a senior living community, followed by service in the U.S. Army. After completing his education, he returned to the senior living field, where his commitment to innovation, accountability, and delivering exceptional care has guided his career and continues to shape his leadership at The Plaza.

Tricia Medeiros is the Chief Operating Officer of The Plaza Assisted Living, where she oversees the operations of all The Plaza Assisted Living communities including The Plaza at Punchbowl, The Plaza at Mililani, The Plaza at Moanalua, The Plaza at Pearl City, The Plaza at Waikiki, and The Plaza at Kaneohe.
Born in Kailua, Hawaii, Medeiros graduated from West Chester University in Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Medeiros started her senior living career with Atria Assisted Living where she worked on the corporate transition team providing training and support for communities requiring assistance with compliance, census, and other operational difficulties. In her career, she has opened eight newly constructed assisted living communities and transitioned seven communities into compliance in Hawaii and the Mainland. Medeiros also has an extensive background in working with Dementia and has served a variety of functions (including Chairman) on the Alzheimer’s Association (Aloha Chapter)’s Board of Directors. Currently, Medeiros is a member of the Board of Directors for the Healthcare Association of Hawaii including the ALF/ARCH Chair and the State of Hawaii’s NCAL State Leader.
Tricia has been instrumental in The Plaza Assisted Living’s continued growth since the company’s inception is 2004. She was the first employee for the Plaza brand and has helped to shepherd the company for the past twenty years with the highest level of integrity, respect, and compassion – values that can be found in all aspects of The Plaza’s operations. Tricia’s contagious work ethic and guidance have allowed the Plaza to grow, continually improve, and become a leader in the assisted living industry.

Michelle Kaneshiro is the Director of Finance for MW Group, where she is a leader in corporate governance and policy and oversees all insurance and tax strategies. Prior to joining the team at MW Group, Michelle worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Seattle, Washington.
In the community, Michelle is active with several professional and nonprofit organizations including GIFT Foundation of Hawaii, and Hawaii Society of CPAs. Michelle holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Masters of Professional Accounting from the University of Washington. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.


Greg Wood is the Vice President and General Manager, responsible for overseeing leasing, property management, and tenant relations for all retail, office, and industrial properties on Oahu. Prior to joining MW Group in 2001, Greg worked in advertising in San Francisco, CA.
Greg currently serves as a Board Member for Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawaii and is the Trustee for the Wood Family Trust which supports Hoʻomalu o Na Kamaliʻi, a safe house for abused and neglected children. Greg graduated from University of the Pacific in 1994.

Evelyn Long serves as the General Manager of Maui operations, where she oversees property management, leasing, marketing, and tenant relations.
Prior to joining MW Group in 2000, Evelyn had a successful career in the retail & hospitality industries.
Evelyn is involved in several organizations in the community. She has served on the boards of: Kihei Wailea Lions Club, Kihei Town Party (as Vice President), and the Commercial Round Table of Maui (as Vice President and President). Evelyn has also been active in the Maui Native Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce, Maui Chamber of Commerce, UH Rainbow Wahine Booster Club, and has devoted her time to raising money for the betterment of youth, elderly, and those in need. She is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Colin Yokoyama serves as the Principal Broker and as a Property Manager for MW Commercial Realty, Inc. He is also the Construction Manager and Project Manager for MW Group. Colin has been with the MW team since 1992 and is the longest-tenured member of both companies. As a property manager with MW Commercial Realty, Colin applies his deep industry knowledge to effectively manage a diverse portfolio of properties across Oahu. In his role with MW Group, Colin is deeply involved in every stage of the complex real estate development process, from conducting due diligence, to navigating the entitlement and permitting processes, to overseeing construction draw administration. Colin’s institutional knowledge and deep understanding of the Hawaii real estate industry have made him an integral part of the MW team.
Outside of work, Colin serves as President of the NS Streamside I Condominium Association. Colin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Real Estate Business from the University of Washington.

Ruoyun Sun brings over a decade of experience in strategic real estate development, advancing community-focused initiatives across Hawai‘i through an emphasis on sustainability, collaboration, and thoughtful growth. She is recognized for her ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, cultivate meaningful partnerships, and engage stakeholders with clarity and purpose to shape environments that serve both people and place.
Her commitment to service extends beyond her professional work, reflected in leadership roles with the Urban Land Institute and the Hawai‘i Mainland Chinese Overseas Association, as well as meaningful contributions to Make-A-Wish Hawai‘i, Family Programs Hawai‘i, and Scouting America.
MWG Team Members

Sara Sing is the Executive Assistant at MW Group. She is responsible for the administrative and human resources functions at the company as well as providing support to the Chief Executive Officer. Sara has been a part of the team at MW Group since 2000.
In the community, Sara acts as the Treasurer for Girl Scouts Troop 200. She was born and raised in Sweden. Sara began her university studies at Universidad del Pais Vasco and later graduated from the University of Hawaii at Hilo with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Spanish.









Gus Zimmer is a Senior Investment Associate at MW Group, responsible for developing investment strategies across MW's diverse portfolio of acquisition and development projects. Prior to joining MW Group, Gus held senior roles at The Shidler Group, Hunt Development Group, and Realty Income Corporation.
Gus is involved with the University of Virginia Club of Hawaii as a board member and is an avid tennis player who enjoys hiking and spending time at the beach. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 2012.


Michael (Mike) Wood was a visionary leader and Co-Founder of MW Group, where he served as Principal and Emeritus. Throughout his career, Mike dedicated himself to shaping the company’s business strategy, marketing, and operations, leaving an enduring impact on its growth and success as well as placing a very high standard on community outreach and mentoring team members.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mike was deeply committed to his community. He actively supported organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hawaii, the University of California Bear Backers, Cal Club Hawaii, and the University of Hawaii Na Koa Football Club. His leadership extended to serving on the Board of Trustees for Mid-Pacific Institute and Family Programs Hawaii (FPH). These roles were not just responsibilities—they reflected Mike’s true passion for education and family well-being, causes that he championed wholeheartedly.
In 2009, Mike and his family partnered with FPH and the State of Hawaii to establish Ho‘omalu O Na Kamali‘i, a home for displaced children—a testament to his compassion and dedication to helping those in need. He continued to champion the long-term funding of this shelter, ensuring its mission would endure. Mike and his wife Joanne were the catalyst behind the creation of a state-of-the-art track and field complex at Mid-Pacific Institute. They sparked the vision and provided the essential seed funding that set the project in motion—a gift that will benefit generations of student-athletes and reflects Mike’s lifelong belief in the power of athletics to shape character and community.
Mike earned his degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and carried the values of excellence and service throughout his life. His generosity, vision, and commitment to community will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
