Stephen B. Metter
Mr. Metter is the Chief Executive Officer and Principal of MW Group, Ltd. and MW Commercial Realty, Inc. Mr. Metter is responsible for corporate and investment strategy, strategic planning, vision, and oversees equity and debt financing.
A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Mr. Metter, an ex-investment banker has been a leader in the Hawaii business community and commercial real estate development industry for more than 25 years.
Mr. Metter sits on a variety of boards; Child & Family Services, The Institute for Family Enrichment, Hawaiian Humane Society, and the Fort Street Mall Business Improvement District. He is also a Board of Advisor for the McDonald's Corporation and is active in World Presidents' Organization (WPO).
Mr. Metter lives in Honolulu, is married, has 3 children and loves his Akitas.
Michael B. Wood
Michael B. Wood is the co-founder and Principal of MW Group, Ltd. Mr. Wood oversees the strategy, marketing and operations for Hawaii Self Storage.
Mr. Wood moved to Hawaii in 1963. He spent the next 18 years with Kenalt Incorporated, a food, sundry & household products brokerage and warehousing distribution business. As President, Mike was instrumental in making Kenalt the largest broker/disbributors in Hawaii before overseeing the sale of the company. Mr. Wood has been in the Real Estate Development industry for over 30 years.
Mr. Wood graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 1962. Mr. Wood participates in several community organizations including The Outrigger Canoe Club, The Plaza Club, The University of California Bear Backers, Cal Club Hawaii and The University of Hawaii Na Koa Football Club. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for both Family Programs Hawaii (FPH) and Mid-Pacific Institute.
In 2009, in partnership with FPH and The State of Hawaii, the Wood Family built Ho'omalu O Na Kamali'i (for the safety and protection of children), a home for displaced children in leeward Oahu. Mr. Wood has dedicated over $9 million for the long term funding and operation of this shelter.
Mr. Wood has been married for 51 years, has 3 sons, 9 grandchildren and 2 dogs.
Tricia Medeiros is the Chief Operating Officer of The Plaza Assisted Living, where she oversees the operations of all The Plaza Assisted Living communities including The Plaza at Punchbowl, The Plaza at Mililani, The Plaza at Moanalua, The Plaza at Pearl City, The Plaza at Waikiki, and The Plaza at Kaneohe.
Born in Kailua, Hawaii, Medeiros graduated from West Chester University in Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Medeiros started her senior living career with Atria Assisted Living where she worked on the corporate transition team providing training and support for communities requiring assistance with compliance, census, and other operational difficulties. In her career, she has opened nine newly constructed assisted living communities and transitioned seven communities into compliance in Hawaii and the Mainland. Medeiros also has an extensive background in working with Dementia and has served a variety of functions (including Chairman) on the Alzheimer’s Association (Aloha Chapter)’s Board of Directors. Medeiros is a board member of Healthcare Association of Hawaii (HAH) and the chair of the ALF committee. She is the State Leader at National Center of Assisted Living for Hawaii.
Tricia has been instrumental in The Plaza Assisted Living’s continued growth since the company’s inception is 2004. She was the first employee for the Plaza brand and has helped to shepherd the company for the past eighteen years with the highest level of integrity, respect, and compassion – values that can be found in all aspects of The Plaza’s operations. Tricia’s contagious work ethic and guidance have allowed the Plaza to grow, continually improve, and become a leader in the assisted living industry.
Brian Wong is the Chief Operating Officer for MW Group. Mr. Wong is responsible for overall MW Group, day to day operations.
Prior to joining MW Group in 2003, he was the Development Manager for McDonald’s Corporation and was responsible for the asset management of new and existing store sites in Hawaii, Guam and Saipan.
Born in Boston, and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Mr. Wong graduated from Mid Pacific Institute and Occidental College and received his MBA from the University of Hawaii. He has been an active member in a number of professional real estate organizations including the CCIM Institute, NAIOP, Urban Land Institute and International Council of Shopping Centers. Mr. Wong was the recipient of the 2005 CCIM Candidate of the Year Award, and was the Hawaii CCIM Chapter 2007 President. He has volunteered for numerous organizations and is currently a Board member for Make-A-Wish Hawaii.
Jefferson B. Gerard
Jeff Gerard is the Vice President and General Manager of Maui. Mr. Gerard oversees all Maui, leasing, entitlements, management, new business/development and related operations.
Mr. Gerard has 16 years of real estate development, brokerage, and property and asset management experience. Prior to joining MW Group, he worked in the brokerage division of Chaney Brooks, where he represented landlords and tenants in commercial lease and sales transactions. Mr. Gerard has directed the Hawaii development and expansion for a number of retailers in the state of Hawaii.
Mr. Gerard is active in the local community serving as Chairman of the Board and Board of Directors of the Maui United Way. He has also served as a member, Vice President and President of the Maui Commercial Round Table, member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).
Gregory M. Wood
Greg Wood is the Vice President & General Manager of Oahu. Mr. Wood oversees all Oahu, leasing, management, tenant relations for MW Group.
Born and raised in Honolulu and a graduate from University of the Pacific in 1994, Greg spent his post collegiate years in the advertising industry in San Francisco working with clients such as Kia Motors and Microsoft. He joined MW Group in 2001.
Community service activities include a second term Board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawaii as well as trustee for the Wood Family supported Ho’omalu O Na Kamali’i a safe house for abused and/or neglected children on Honolulu’s west coast.
Greg and wife Jennifer have been married since 2002 have two children James and Kylie, and share their home with the family’s dogs Rocket and Kula.
Evelyn Long is the General Manager of Maui. Ms. Long oversees all Maui operations, management, leasing, advertising and tenant relations for MW Group.
Born and raised in Honolulu and a graduate of University of Hawaii at Manoa. She had extensive hospitality and retail experience before joining MW Group in 2000.
Ms. Long has served on the boards for Kihei Wailea Lions Club, Kihei Town Party and as Vice President and President of the Commercial Round Table of Maui. She has been an active member of the Maui Native Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce, Maui Chamber of Commerce, UH Rainbow Wahine Booster Club and has been instrumental in organizing activities and volunteering to raise funds for the betterment of youth, elderly and those in need in the community.
Daniel G.W. Ho
Daniel Ho is the President of Hawaii Self Storage. Mr. Ho oversees Hawaii Self Storage’s strategy, development, design, interior build-out, sales, marketing and operations. He is recognized as an industry leader and innovator. In addition, Mr. Ho is a key member of the MW Group Executive Team.
Mr. Ho has helped spearhead Hawaii Self Storage’s community outreach programs; Lockers for Literacy, Hawaii Self Storage Scholarship Program, B.R.I.D.G.E. program, athletic donations, etc.
Michelle Kaneshiro is the Director of Finance of MW Group, Ltd, where she oversees insurance and tax strategies across all of MW Group’s platforms.
Born and raised in Hawaii, Mrs. Kaneshiro received a Masters of Professional Accounting and Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Washington. Prior to joining MW Group in 2006, Ms. Kaneshiro started her career in Seattle, WA at PriceWaterHouseCoopers, LLP.
Mrs. Kaneshiro is a Certified Public Accountant (not in public practice). Over the past decade, she has enjoyed utilizing her financial expertise to assist community organizations such as the GIFT Foundation of Hawaii, Hawaii Society of CPAs, and Make-A-Wish Hawaii.
Colby M. Kisaba
Colby Kisaba is the Chief Financial Officer of MW Group. Mr. Kisaba joined MW Group, Ltd. in 2001. As the Chief Financial Officer of MW Group, Ltd., Mr. Kisaba is responsible for the finance and accounting functions of the company.
Mr. Kisaba graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Masters of Business Administration.
Mr. Kisaba is an active member of the Community Leadership Board of the American Diabetes Association of Hawaii. He is also the 2013-2014 President Elect of Financial Executives International Hawaii Chapter.
Daniel D. Cody
Daniel Cody is the Chief Investment Officer for MW Group where he is responsible for all company acquisitions and development projects. He began working with the company in 2005 and was promoted to his current position in 2012.
Prior to joining MW Group, Daniel worked in the development industry in Seattle, San Diego, and Jakarta, Indonesia. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
He is currently active on the boards of The Salvation Army, NAIOP Hawaii, and the UCLA Anderson Alumni Association.
Noelle B. Catalan Kim
Noelle is the Corporate Counsel for MW Group. As Corporate Counsel, she is responsible for all legal matters impacting the company’s diverse business platforms.
Prior to joining MW Group, Noelle was in private practice for several years at a full-service civil law firm in Honolulu. She also worked in Corporate Compliance and served as the Privacy Officer for one of Hawaii’s largest financial institutions.
Born and raised on Oahu, Noelle is a graduate of Punahou School. She obtained her B.A., cum laude, from the University of Southern California, and earned her law degree, cum laude, from the William S. Richardson School of Law. As a law student, Noelle served as a member and as Executive and Managing Editor of the University of Hawai’i Law Review.
